WBG-1000

The Wireless BACnet Gateway (WBG-1000) is Optergy’s next-generation gateway device. It builds upon the robust functionality of the legacy Optergy Air BG-1000 Gateway while introducing enhanced wireless capabilities and broader sensor compatibility. Designed to integrate seamlessly into BACnet-based building automation systems (BAS), the WBG-1000 acts as a communications bridge between Optergy’s Air sensor portfolio and an existing BAS. The WBG-1000 supports both BACnet/IP and BACnet MS/TP, enabling connection to IP-based BACnet clients and MS/TP field networks. It provides standard BACnet services required for device discovery, monitoring, and control, and exposes BACnet objects/points appropriate for typical BAS operation. The gateway is intended for commercial building installations and is commissioned using a local configuration interface to set network parameters and verify correct operation. Once deployed, the WBG-1000 operates continuously to maintain reliable communication and data reporting between wireless sensors and the BACnet network.
